Our history, started 30 years ago, and its specialization in truck-mounted aerial work platforms are the facts that distinguish our company.

SO.CA.GE “Società di Carpenteria Generale” was established in 1974 as a specialized company in the production of metallic components.
In 1981 the company specialized in the manufacturing of working access platforms and thanks to its innovative articulated platforms affirmed itself as a leader in the Italian market.
In 1987 the SO.CA.GE-FASSI ( the third World manufacturer of truck mounted cranes ) started the ambitious project to create the first Italian group specialized in equipment for aerial work.
Thanks to the FASSI’s technical and industrial know-how, SO.CA.GE has been growing year by year. The turning point in SO.CA.GE history is August 2009: SOCAGE S.r.l. was bought by a group of entrepreneurs with a great experience in the access platform sector: Mr Fiorenzo Flisi and Mr Maurizio Piantoni.
They aimed at speeding up the company development through huge investments in R&D in order to offer the market products with better performances, in comparison with competitors’ equipments.
At the present Socage focuses its work on the emerging markets and on the innovation.
Despite the difficulties the market is facing, the Company is investing in training courses, and 500.000 euros have been invested in a new and upgraded 3D Design Software, which allows the Technical Department to carry out stress analysis on individual components prior to production. The materials used are therefore optimized and the result is the greater performance of the overall platform. In 2012 the Company decided to restyle the equipments. The result is the new forSte line: more than 100 changes have been made on each platform in order to improve not only the aesthetical appearance, but also the performance of the platforms, aiming at keeping the pace with a constantly changing market.
SOCAGE, through the implementation of commercial strategies that aim at the production and sale of large numbers, has among its primary objectives that of placing itself among the sector leaders, increasing its competitiveness on the market and its turnover.
Consolidating and expanding the presence of the Company in the national and international field is the challenge that the Management is currently facing with the intention of making the SOCAGE brand as a synonym of quality and reliability more recognizable.
The Company believes that these services can be achieved through a well-structured organizational management that finds its application in the ISO9001 Company Quality System aimed at resolving internal production and organizational problems and continuously improving processes.
Management’s conviction is that customer satisfaction is achieved by supplying products that, in addition to meeting the customer’s needs for use, comply with current regulations, have high safety and efficacy characteristics, are free of defects, are easy and clear to use , are reliable over time and at the same time are economical.
In this perspective SOCAGE intends:
– to promote a customer listening policy by providing additional resources and resources to the corporate function in charge (Technical Assistance) in order to improve existing products
– consolidate and optimize the current range of SOCAGE products and design / develop new products through the precious know-how possessed by the company

The Quality Manager, as the Quality Management Representative, is assigned the responsibility of ensuring the application of the System, reporting it directly to the Sole Administrator with regard to its performance, the achievement of the objectives set and any qualitative problems arising. The Quality Manager is assigned the task of developing the Quality System and conferred the necessary authority to ensure that it is understood, disseminated and applied throughout the company by taking all the necessary measures to ensure the quality of the product and of the connected service .
